working on these?
Hanz is *q*... I have a personal tradition, that is every 14th Feb and/or 14th April I love to draw/ink something that connects to Valentine's day or White Day or even Black Day =3
Wish I have a real person to pose me for this though *wink*
Another inking, This time it's the muses! I really wanna pinch em
Edit* - Another inking WIP... Normally I have 3-4 stages of inking & this is my 2nd stage of it

Sketch Chibis
Chibi tiem!
This is actually a sketch for chibi Dark's model sheet, whom someday I want render to become a 3D model... (long waaaaaaay to go!)
1st of all, introducing Naru-tan! Naru-tan is the latest addition in the family. He's cute isn't he? Whenever I played an RPG game that requires to rename the characters, Naru-tan/Naru/Narr will be the 2nd/3rd male character after Mie & Hanz. His name came from an excerpt of my full name.... He always have his headphone on his ear, whether or not he is listening to his iPod. He prefers to be alone.. but somehow he'll turn up & say things that make sense before he goes back whatever hell he's doing. Naru-tan loves fishballs, especially the ones from 7-Eleven... so addictive.
The chibis had a climbing contest on Mie's erm.... obsticle course...... Of course Hanz is winning

How I ink the banana way part 2
hiya all how the holiday over the Chinese New Year? for those who celebrate, Happy New Year & for those who don't Happy Holidays!
ok, with no further ado, to continue the last part, here's the second(last?) part!
4. Yay, the inking process is almost done! most of the shadow places are inked & the girl look more solid now compared to initial inking. turn off the sketch layer to see the artline better but....
5. Doing a little touch up... then..... the inking is completed!Well, not exactly, I may use screentones/patterns for her clothes, coloring etc but that can be for future. For now the inking process is finished
Thank you for reading, stay tune for more!

Noticed the artwork has some stray inking & look a bit messy so it's time to use the eraser!

Below is the breakdown of the inking file. Usually I use less than 3 for inking as I often merge the eye & the detailing part to the basic inking layout

How I ink the banana way
1. sketch - Usually I set the PSD file to 300dpi, CYMK & in A4. Mostly I like to create new layer to sketh instead on the BG layer. But in this case, I just use the RGB setting instead. Brush is usually from pt9-14 (due it's 300 dpi) & the default hard brush. Nothing biggy, just sketch until you're satisfied with it
2. Then I use new layer to ink it. The sketch layer I set the opacity to 20-30% just that I can differentiate the sketch layer & the inking layer. I often use the same brush settings as my sketch. At the same time I made changes from my sketch when I am not so happy with the initial sketch (For this her hair clip). Another habit of mine is to separate the "eye" layer from the inking & use thicker brush to ink her upper eyelids.
3.Starts to ink the shadow parts of it. I determine the source of light is from upper left so I inked the places opposite from it. Usually I create a new layer for this, as to avoid mistakes & then erased the inking line...
to be continued.....

Who wants Ice-cream?
oh, yes you do....
a diff way of inking
The last Pic is the pic I shown in an FB group that you can ink using freehand Tablet or using the pen tool inking. IMO, I prefer the freehand one but if you don't have a table... using pen tool is your other option.
a diff way of inking
As I like to play Magic the Gathering, This sketch sums it up (I played token decks, which summon a whole hell a lot of creatures)
