More Rifling comic quick sketch

The internet is down in the office yesterday. While I was waiting for a colleague's response so I manage to sketch some of the comic pages of Rifling~ They are not really sequential & a few connecting pages are missing but these are the ones I drew yesterday.

Hope I can get some out by for this week's update on Rifling!

I did this somewhere in end Nov-mid Dec, after unintentional urge to color. So I grabbed my tablet &  color away for 2-3 hrs on Photoshop. The end result is this little guy. Use a simple cell shading tech with layers + multiply effect. The lineart is from my friend N, I take no credit on this beautiful artwork except the coloring.

I want to do a Tiger & Bunny fanart based on the photo I got from Fotolia, Although the outfit suits Bunny more, but the whole old car have Kotetsu's vibe doncha think?

On the positive side I started to sketch on the second Rifling's chapter (although only the possible cover lulz) The gun on top is just a ref on his gun so it's not his real gun XD will gambare masho!

Rifling: Bullet 1 is in SMACKJEEVES! WOOHOO!

I have the acc for a long time but only now I have the guts to actually post something a comic there. Go & take a look, comment etc :D

*Update* - 3 pages has been basic inked ! (outline, no BG) when I could the page count.. it reached 20 for the 1st part @_@ dunno if I can make it but Ganbare!!!

Yay! Completed inking a drawing! Took me abt an hour (a test for me if I could sketch & ink within an hour) need to be faster so that all the details can be put in!

Thru the ages!

My Friend, V, showed her how her OC would look like when they grew up, so I did the same thing (automatically) for Xerone & Sachou

 Basically Xerone's spikes are softer & thick when he's little. Plus his chocolate obsession increases as he grew up. LOL The bunny plushie he hugged is based on combination of my own plushies that I have at home, "Rabbit" & "Bear". Missing one eye is (Bear's) & lopsided ear (Rabbit) is what they looks like now

 

For Sachou, he also is not changed much through out the year, although his personality that changed much. In early age, his hair is kinda silky & unstyled a bit, but after the assasination attempt, he started to slicked his hair back.


As I drew this, one thing stands out between both of them, that is their smile. Xerone started out as a child who rarely smile but after he lost his memories he started to smile more often, genuine smile. Sachou however, he started as a child who smile/have his emotion (as what spoil brat does) then as he grew up & after the assassination attempt, he gradually lose his smile & eventually his emotion....

Then I got an idea what did Sachou do while in college, I made him take double Major degree, one in Business, the other in Fashion Design. my friend V pointed out that I made him look gayer, which I doubt it coz the reason he took the Fashion Design is because he wanna learn to make dresses to Eppy. As for the style of his fashion design I was thinking he much prefer the formal wear attire (+ I <3 men in suits, *wipes drool*)

Xerone & Ally Sketch

This one came out from blue, I was working yesterday & while waiting for FA work to be uploaded, I sketch this. At first i just want to draw Ally, then it transform to crying Ally hugging an unconscious & apparently wounded Xerone (damn you Kotetsu in T&B epi 23!!!). I hope in the actual comic I didn't have use the sketch....

Testing out Manga Studio EX

I tested out the Manga Studio EX for this short comic (which still in WIP), i love the brushes! The inspiration for the comic is from 30 seconds to Mars chorus lyric...

So this comic somehow explained Xerone's relationship loyalty to Sachou. The ded guy, is his first kill ever. For Xerone, he's willing to take a life just to save his beloved friend. Xerone is abt 15 or 16 in here & Sachou is abt 12/13

Has difficulties to trust people except Xerone & his uncle-butler, Philippe because of attempted assassination & his mother's death

Interest in Fashion design, especially in formal/business wear

usually control his emotion except when Xerone's chocolate bill (or IOU) on his desk

Secretly in love with Xerone Epsilon, waiting her to wake up

Each year, he'll design a dress for Epsilon & present it to her ICU ward
